As An Employee

Part time or Full time Agreement

Teachers/Staff and Daryk Agreement

The staff/teacher understood that she has to be 15 Minutes earlier than her/his class time, and start the class on time for the whole term otherwise Daryk Academy/High & Middle Schools has the right to take an action. In that case, the teacher may not receive any payments in regards of the late arrival or misbehaving.


The staff/teacher understood and agreed that he/she has to call 1 day before up to 3 hours before the class in regards of cancellation otherwise Daryk Academy/High School has the right to void on time payment.


The staff/teacher agreed to respect Daryk Academy/High & Middle Schools policy in regards of not giving or receiving any contact numbers to her/his self to any students. The staff/teacher has the right to have contact with email in regards of sending the assignments.


The Teacher agreed to not have any contact information from the student(s) during or after the classes as it is prohibited by the Daryk Inc. principal other than that Academy/High &  Middle Schools had the right to take an action of moral turpitude involvement


The STAFF/TEACHER agrees to inform the Academy/High & Middle Schools three working weeks (15 working Days) written notice for any agreement or discontinuing agreement.


It is further mutually agreed that the Academy/High & Middle Schools shall offer the STAFF/TEACHER a new contract of employment for the ensuing term/year on or before finishing the sessions, unless the Academy/High & Middle Schools gives the STAFF/TEACHER written notice of its intention not to re-employ the STAFF/TEACHER again. 

Payment:

The payment will be given/deposited in cash / a cheque / an E-transfer by end of each moth or the beginning of next month.

** Important note about the Cheques:

As all transactions in the business account must be clear for the school and the CRA, all teachers' payments must be on time and updated. The teachers are responsible to deposit their cheques on time. The account transaction must be reported to the school accountant at the end of each month. It is an important fact for the school not make any mistakes or doubts for any delayed transactions.

Therefor it is agreed (between Daryk Educational Group. and any teachers/employee) to deposit the check in 3 days of the time receiving it. In case of depositing later than 3 days, the teacher will be charged $50 in case of cheque returns by the school.

In case of repetition of depositing cheques later than 3 days, the school has the permission to charge the teacher $ 100 for every single cheque.

Contract Termination

Daryk Academy/High & Middle Schools and the staff/teachers agree to terminate the contract in case of:

- The result of the training does not satisfied the school. The one to two months of training will be after one/two months of volunteering job in the school.

- There is no professional behavior from the staff/teacher to other collogues/parents/students.

- There is some missing on the assigned job .

- Or any other related missing that the principal finds out.


The termination of the contract can be signed and notified to the staff/teacher right after the decision made.

The staff/teacher will be notify verbally and by written.

After notifying, the staff/teacher has the right to pack and leave in one day. 

If the school requests to the staff/teacher to stay until a new candidate arrives, in that case the older member has an option to stay until the new member get hired. The old member will get paid until then. 

How to Prepare an Occupational Health and Safety Policy

A policy statement by senior management is an effective way to communicate the organization's commitment to worker health and safety. Senior management attitudes, relationships between management and labour, community interests and technology all combine to play a part in determining how health and safety are viewed and addressed in the workplace.

Workplaces with exceptional health and safety records have established a clear line of responsibility for correcting health and safety concerns. This action enhances working relationships between management and labour.

Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, an employer must prepare and review at least annually a written occupational health and safety policy, and must develop and maintain a program to implement that policy [section 25(2)(j)].

A clear, concise policy statement should reflect management's commitment, support and attitude to the health and safety program for the protection of workers. This statement should be signed by the highest level of management at the workplace, thus indicating senior management commitment.

An example of a good health and safety policy follows:

As president (or owner/operator, chairperson, chief executive officer, etc.) of (Daryk Educational Group.), I give you my personal promise that every reasonable precaution will be taken for the protection of workers.

Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. Workers must receive adequate training in their specific work tasks to protect their health and safety.

Every worker must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with the law and with safe work practices and procedures established by the company. It is in the best interest of all parties to consider health and safety in every activity. Commitment to health and safety must form an integral part of this organization, from the president to the workers.

Violence & Harassment Policy

Workplace violence and Harassment Policy

The management of Daryk Inc. known as Daryk Educational Group. is committed to the prevention of workplace violence and is ultimately responsible for worker health and safety. We will take whatever steps are reasonable to protect our workers from workplace violence from all sources.

Violent behavior in the workplace is unacceptable from anyone. This policy applies to workers such as visitors, clients, delivery persons and volunteers, etc.. Everyone is expected to uphold this policy and to work together to prevent workplace violence.

There is a workplace violence program that implements this policy. 

It includes measures and procedures to protect workers from workplace

violence, a means of summoning immediate assistance and a process for workers to report incidents, or raise concerns. Daryk Inc. known as Daryk Educational Group., as the employer, will ensure this policy and the supporting program are implemented and maintained and that all workers and supervisors have the appropriate information and instruction to protect them from violence in the workplace.

Supervisors will adhere to this policy and the supporting program. Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that measures and procedures are followed by workers and that workers have the information they need to protect themselves.

Every worker must work in compliance with this policy and the supporting program. All workers are encouraged to raise any concerns about workplace violence and to report any violent incidents or threats. There will be no negative consequences for reports made in good faith.

Management pledges to investigate and deal with all incidents and complaints of workplace violence in a fair and timely manner, respecting the privacy of all concerned as much as possible. 

The management of Daryk Inc. known as Daryk Educational Group. is committed to providing a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.

Workplace harassment will not be tolerated from any person in the workplace. Everyone in the workplace must be dedicated to preventing workplace harassment. Managers, supervisors, teachers and workers are expected to uphold this policy, and will be held accountable by the employer.

Workplace harassment means engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct against a worker in a workplace -- a comment or conduct that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome.

Harassment may also relate to a form of discrimination as set out in the Ontario Human Rights Code, but it does not have to.

This policy is not intended to limit or constrain the reasonable exercise of management functions in the workplace.

Workers are encouraged to report any incidents of workplace harassment. There will be no negative consequences for reports made in good faith).

Management will investigate and deal with all concerns, complaints, or incidents of workplace harassment in a fair and timely manner while respecting workers’ privacy as much as possible.

Nothing in this policy prevents or discourages a worker from filing an application with the Human Rights Tribunal on a matter related to Ontario’s Human Rights Code within one year of the last alleged incident. A worker also retains the right to exercise any other legal avenues that may be available.

Acknowlegment

By signing the full contract with Daryk Inc. I (staff/teacher) agree with all terms and conditions.

Dark Inc. has the right to sign a new contract with me or terminate it in case of any unacceptable issues without any complain. 

I (staff/teacher) has fully reviewed the hard copy of my contract and on the website and will do my professional work during the job.

I understand and I am aware of the nature of the job and can update myself to m y  new work place.
